She has a 165hp Scania D10 engine with a 30” 4 bladed propeller, new Oct 2014. Hydraulic bow-thruster driven by a 30hp Beta engine which also serves a bow Spud-pole, anchor windlass & 1 Tonne crane (to hoist an Austin Ranger kit car, tender). A stern Spud-pole is driven by it's own 24v hydraulic power pack. Aft deck derrick for traditional steel dinghy.

Main engine is a 1964 Scania D10 normally aspirated 6 cylinder 165HP diesel with a 3:1 Paragon hydraulic gearbox driving a 75mm dia. shaft with a 90cm 4 blade bronze propeller.
Forecastle has a 30HP Beta diesel engine driving a 20HP, Variable thrust, hydraulic Bow-thruster and 2x100Amp Alternators. This engine also provides hydraulic drive to the 1Tonne hydraulic crane, hydraulic anchor windlass & Bow Spud-pole.
Marianne is constructed of riveted Steel with welded doubling. The decks have been stripped to bare metal and painted with a professional non-slip system, applied in 2017 after Dry-docking for TRIWV survey. Topsides and coachwork completely repainted 2018.
The wheelhouse is double glazed mahogany & collapsible, allowing full transit of the Canal du midi (2014)
The 1 Tonne SWL crane facilitated the loading of 'Noddy', a 4 seater Austin Ranger fiberglass body kit car.
Aft of the wheelhouse, down steps to the Owners double en-suite cabin with hanging wardrobe end ample cupboard space. There is an en-suite shower, wash basin and toilet. Beneath this cabin is a large Lazarette giving access to the propeller shaft and rudder quadrant. This space is also used as a cool paint store.
The wheelhouse is of mahogany, fully double glazed and collapsable, thus allowing passage throughout the Canal du Midi. It has a banquet seat across the rear and a table with two high stools, allowing drinks & dining with uninterrupted 360 degree views.
Forward of the wheelhouse, down steps to the Galley & Saloon. The Galley has a 5 burner Smeg gas cooker with Oven below, Dishwasher, Microwave and Washing machine. The galley has spacious low level storage cupboards.
Down one step from the galley is the Saloon, with dining table and 6 chairs, settee, satellite TV, HiFi and AV amplifier with surround sound system.
Forward is a hallway with spacious storage cupboards leading to two guest cabins, a Double en-suite cabin and a Twin en-suite cabin.
The entire accomodation is fully centrally heated and double glazed.
