Located under the cockpit, Volvo 2040 MD 4-cylinder 40hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive with Stripper rope cutter fitted to 3-bladed propeller.


The Cutlass bearing was last changed in 2017, the engine has been serviced annually by her experienced owner and appears to be in very good cosmetic condition

Construction

Beneteau Oceanis 36CC built in 1998 by Beneteau Yachts to a design by Jean Berret. White GRP hull with green styling stripes, superstructure and GRP non-slip decks. Cast iron wing keel. Wheel steering to spade rudder. Centre self draining cockpit with teak laid cockpit seating and sole. Integral self draining anchor locker.

Accommodation

The Beneteau Oceanis 36CC accommodation offers up to six berths in three cabins with approximately 6'4" maximum headroom.


FORECABIN: Double V berth with stowage beneath, shelves, two hanging lockers and opening hatch to foredeck.


SALOON: A light and comfortable space fitted with an L-shaped settee to port and a single settee berth to starboard either side of a central table with folding leaves and storage. Further storage beneath berths and in various lockers with lots of natural light and ventilation provided by various opening portlights, hatches and fixed windows.


GALLEY: A large linear galley runs aft along the port side equipped with a 2-burner gas cooker with oven, twin stainless steel sinks, large fridge, freezer and excellent stowage and worktop space. Separate Waeco freezer.


CHART TABLE: The forward facing chart table, located to starboard, is of a good size and has navigation equipment, an electrical distribution panel and storage areas.


HEADS: Aft to starboard is the heads compartment which can be accessed from the saloon or aft cabin and is fitted with a marine toilet, shower, washbasin and storage.


AFT CABIN: Access to the spacious aft cabin is via the galley walkway or the heads and has a large double berth offset to starboard, with a curved settee opposite, hanging lockers, opening hatch to aft deck and en suite access to the heads compartment.


GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Large 420 litre water capacity supplying hot and cold pressurised water to galley and heads via a calorifier with immersion coil. Green, red and white striped upholstery with matching curtains. Attractive teak finish interior with moulded white headlinings and teak and holly sole boards. Ample stowage throughout for extended periods on-board. Opening portlights replaced in 2018. Cockpit cushions replaced in 2017
