Mercruiser D219 Turbo diesel engines. Well maintained inboard turbo charged & aftercooled 6 cylinder engines located under the saloon floor and driving conventional shafts and rudders. These engines will rev to 3,800 and the boat will plan/cruise at 15 knots at 3,000 rev. top speed 19 knots. These engines are BMW based and when introduced were known as the smokeless diesel engines.
All GRP cruiser from the well renown Broom stable, the 33 being one of the first truly modern Brooms, alongside the 37, taking Broom into the current line of boats where the hulls turned from Semi displacement and displacement to planning hulls to allow good progress at sea whilst retaining the typical Broom easy handling at lower speeds
6 Berths in 3 cabin areas, Saloon seating with lower helm position. The Saloon offers comfortable seating for up to seven people with a drop leaf table to allow lounging or dining.
The rear cabin has an island double berth for easy access both sides, this also looks good and gives a great use of space. There is a separate electric toilet/shower room and ample storage space.
Forward is the galley area with electric day heads and newly installed second shower compartment leading to the V berths in the bow.
Externally, reached by steps from the rear of the saloon is the upper helm position with seating for several people under a usable canopy for shelter against rain or sun. Access to the side decks is very easy from here for lock work, the arch is folding to allow access under the lower bridges.

This is to the starboard side of the boat and includes a 3 burner gas hob, oven and grill combination, twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold water, fridge, plenty of storage lockers for provisions and kitchen equipment.
These are located on the port side and includes electric flush toilet to holding tank with optional sea discharge, Shower, sink with hot and cold water, mirror, opening window and storage locker.
Large L shaped seating makes this a comfortable relaxing area with an option to convert to a double bed. The dinette table is adjustable in height and there is storage space below the saloon seating. A side board runs the length of the saloon to the port side giving more storage below. Access to the engines can be gained easily under the saloon floor. There is a lower helm with full instrumentation and helm seat. Large windows several opening give the saloon a light and airy feel.
The main owners cabin is down a couple of steps to the aft of the boat. It consists of a large island bed with dressing table starboard side. There is plenty of storage space and hanging lockers. There are opening windows to both sides and an escape hatch. The cabin benefits from and en suite which has an electric toilet to holding tank, sink with vanity unit and storage below and shaver point. A separate shower is an excellent feature to the heads.
The helm is located to the starboard side and has full instrumentation with chart table and compass. The seat is suitable for two people and the rear of the seat folds back to give extra seating to the cockpit. There is plenty of seating all covered with a full canopy making this an al fresco seating area. The arch fold down to give extra headroom in inland waterways.
Good sized decks give easy access to the bow with the safety of stainless rails all around the boats. To the bow there is an anchor and electric winch, cleats and anchor chain locker. On the aft of the boat there is a pair of stainless-steel davits, 4x stainless steel fender baskets to starboard side, aft boarding ladder to a large bathing platform.
