'Northern Star" is a 57 ft trad stern narrow boat, built in 1997 by John White (10/6/4), currently moored at Mercia Marina in Derbyshire.
She's the perfect boat for anyone looking for a modernised live-aboard or a no fuss holiday boat, having been sympathetically modernised and adapted for a flexible working/living space. She would be a comfortable first home for a couple at any stage of life, or an ideal holiday boat, as the layout is so flexible and can provide diverse sleeping arrangements.
The whole boat has a very light and airy feel giving a sense of space. The bedroom has a fixed double bed, under bed storage, wardrobe and shelving. A further space, previously used as a bedroom, has been converted into a multi-purpose office and dining area, with sliding double-desk and shelving storage. The fully equipped galley kitchen has a gas oven, grill and hob and leads to the lovely bright saloon.
