Albion is a traditional ex-working tug built by Roger and Paul Lorenz in 1980 and subsequently lengthened and fitted out by the Warwickshire Fly Boat Company. With a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, Albion is a comfortable liveaboard with a distinctive long wooden planked tug deck, boatman's cabin, traditional roses and castles decoration by Ron Hough, and solid brass portholes throughout.
Accommodation: Four berth with a below-deck bedroom and a fold-down double cross bed in the boatman's cabin. Galley is U-shaped with new 4-ring stainless steel hob, new stainless steel sink, oven, grill, and gas/12v fridge. Bathroom features tiled shower area and basin splashback with copper fittings and a Thetford PortaPotti.
Engine: Petter PH2W 2-cyl diesel marine engine with PRM260 gearbox, 16.4hp @ 2000rpm.
Heating/Hot Water: Villager Heron multifuel stove with back boiler in living room, traditional Epping stove in boatman's cabin, back boiler and engine feed twin coil calorifier.
Power: Kyocera tiltable solar panels, Sterling Pro 12v/30A charger and solar charger, Smartgauge battery monitor, 1000w pure sine wave inverter, 1 x starter + 4 x 110Ah domestic batteries, 70A 12v Lucas alternator, 240v sockets in living room and cabin.
Navigation equipment: Ropes, fenders, pole, hook, plank, mooring pins, piling irons, windlasses.
Flooring: Laminate in saloon and bedroom, vinyl in galley and bathroom, marine ply in engine room, and wood in back cabin.
Lighting: 12v LED lighting.
Gas: 2 x 13kg gas locker.
Capacity: Large stainless steel water tank under well deck + 60 litre diesel tank.
Insulation: Sprayfoam forward of engine room.
BSS: Valid until 2020.
