Fast and fun Stephen Jones designed Micro 18 Believed built by MG Yachts (Scotland). Micro Cupper class is resurgent, and previous owner had raced her, but I bought her just to have some fun. I don't know what year she was built, but suspect some time in the mid 80s. Good condition for year (some of the usual star-crazing in spots). Lovely set of (Batt I think) sails- 1x fully battened main, 1x hanked Jib (large jib/small genoa) and 1x convetional spinnaker (+ pole)- all in really good condition and rolled in sleeves when not in use.
Old but reliable and effective Mariner 2-stroke outboard on lifting mount. Bulb (lead) keel on electric winch. Echo-sounder. Old but serviceable trailer (dismantled in storage at mo, but ready to rebuild- I towed from Essex to Hampshire). Cabin is dry and cosy, with all cushions in good condition- slept aboard a few times! Currently on berth in Haslar Marina.
