Single and original four stroke Mercedes OM36 42HP engine on four cyliders providing a smooth and quiet running motion. The engine has been regularly serviced and is in excellent working order. Raw water cooled with heating service to calorifier.
New transmission Gearbox 2015
manufactured in GRP with serious strength built in as befitting the construction in the 70s. The top deck tread has been repainted with four coats of Hempel light grey deck paint applied. The teak wood trims top side have been sanded back to original colour and professionally treated in a mix of balsam and quality beeswax in a traditional style.
The cockpit is deep and safe with seating for up to 6 comfortably fwd of the helm position. The stern locker is cavernous and useful as a large seating area underway and along side.
The sail locker is on the cockpit stbd side an allows easy access to the engine room where a new Surecal emersion/calorifier has been installed controlled by an electronic timer.
Loads of storage space in the saloon and v berth area with two large wardrobes.
The kitchen teak frame construction has been retained but the work surface replaced with a marble melamine, extending over a top of the range Taylors 041 cooker (£3500 when new) to provide additional work surface. Sink replaced with new mixer taps along with new Jabisco water pump. Excellent cool box with compressor providing cold/freezer facility. Additional fridge beneath nav station.
The head/bathroom contains a manual pump toilet with sink and shower.
6 berth , 1 fore cabin, 2 double settee births, and 1 quarter berth. Floors are all teak and maple, all furniture is solid teak, including a teak galley. Full sized chart table, ample storage, including large number of LED chrome wall lights throughout.
The yacht has been restored with all the mod cons to make her an excellent live aboard in the marina. A variety of heating sources, insulated and with a quality V berth posture sprung mattress.
